UI For Elders is an Android application developed by Thierry Productions. This Privacy Policy explains how UI For Elders handles information when you use the application.
UI For Elders is designed to provide a simple and accessible interface for Android users. The app may request access to Android system features and permissions that are necessary to provide its accessibility and interface functionality.
Permissions granted to UI For Elders are used only to provide the functionality requested by the user. UI For Elders does not sell personal information.
UI For Elders may use Android accessibility functionality to provide features that assist users in operating their device. Accessibility access is used only for features provided by UI For Elders and is not used to sell personal information or for advertising purposes.
Accessibility service (floating Back button)
UI for elders includes an optional Android AccessibilityService that shows a floating Back button above other apps and performs the Android Back action when you tap it. The service listens only to window-change events so it can hide the button on the lock screen, in the Android Settings app and on the UI for elders home screen. It does not read text or other content from other apps, does not perform gestures on your behalf, does not change settings and does not record the screen. Which app is in front is handled in memory on your device only; it is not stored, sent to Thierry Productions or shared with third parties. The service is off by default. You enable it yourself in Android Settings → Accessibility and can turn it off at any time.
Thierry Productions does not sell users' personal information. Any information accessed through Android permissions is used only as necessary to provide the app's functionality, except where disclosure may be required by law.
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information handled by UI For Elders. Android permissions remain subject to the controls and security mechanisms provided by the Android operating system.
UI For Elders does not provide user accounts. Information used locally by the application may be removed by clearing the application's data or uninstalling the application. Where UI For Elders does not transmit information to Thierry Productions' servers, Thierry Productions does not retain that information on its servers.
UI For Elders is designed primarily as an accessibility-oriented interface for older users and is not specifically directed at children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality or data practices of UI For Elders change. The latest version will be made available on this page.
